Habitat Heroes

Habitat Heroes (www.HabitatHeroes.com) is a virtual world where kids can have fun while learning about protecting the environment. It aims to teach children about the many environmental issues through education-based games, puzzles, and treasure hunts. Topics include land rejuvenation, water preservation, animal extinction, global warming, recycling and different cultures. Children are also able to practice their social skills by befriending other children from around the world. This project is very close to my heart. I was assigned to this project for three years taking on different roles and responsibilities. I started out as a graphic and game designer, and then became a web designer and developer, and then eventually became the project manager.
